Ron, Marie, Anne, Francois, Louise & family:
I am so very sorry and saddened by your loss.  This was all such a shock to me, I still can't believe that Claire is gone.  Claire was such a lovely and gentle lady.  I liked her from the first time we met.  On each get-to-gether she was always so pleasant and kind, full of life and smiles.  Her great love of family was so evident in her conversations and activities.  I will miss seeing her on those special times, but I know here presence will be hovering nearby with love.
Rest In Peace, sweet Claire.
Cynthia Tait (Marie's mother-in-law)

Sorry for those who can not read French but I'm better in French, especially regarding my emotions!

Louise Forcier (Claire's sister)

Ron, Marie, Annie and Francois,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Claire was truly a very 'special' person. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years and she always managed to put a smile on my face.  She loved you all so very much and was so proud of each of you.  Claire's gandchildren had a very special place in her heart.  Her genuine outlook on life will always be remembered.  She was so well respected by all who knew her.  It sincerely was a privilege to have known her.  I will miss her.

Dear Ron, Marie, Annie and Francois
I am so sorry to hear of Claire's passing.  I had the pleasure of working with Claire for many years.  We had so many laughs together.  She always had a smile for everyone.  I don't know of anyone who didn't love and respect her.  She was always ready to help anyone.  She taught me so much about cooking . She was also there for me in trying times, and she was a good listener and gave out very good advice which I will follow for the rest of my life. Thank You Claire.  The last time I saw her was when we went out for lunch in October.  She was so excited about Christmas and spending time with her family and her very special grandchildren. She had such a wonderful way of expressing herself.  Not only could you hear the excitement in her voice but you could see it in her eyes.  She loved you all so very much. She was a very sincere person and I thought so much of her and always will.  She will have a very special place in my heart, and I will miss her dearly and I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with  you all.
Sincerely Josie

Ron, Marie, Annie and Francois...it is with a saddened heart that I write this.  I am so deeply sorry for your loss.  I admired Claire from the first time we met...being a single Mom of 3 children and living so far away from her family  took a lot of courage and she did it.  She had a lot of inner strength.  I had the privilage to work with Claire for so many years and I enjoyed each and every moment that we had together.    We also shared many laughs....great ones in fact.  I loved her quirky sense of humour, she could always find a way to make me laugh.  We found humour in the same things.  She would always know when I just needed to talk it out...she sensed when I was troubled.  I worried about her health so much over the last few years and I tried to do what I could to make it easier for her.  I am so thankful that we were able to travel twice to Europe...I will have those memories forever.  She loved you all so very much and I am proud to call her my friend.  She will be missed by all.

Ron and Family,

Gail and I cannot express adequately our profound sadness at the loss of our sister in law, Claire.
She was one of those special people who always made you feel welcome and part of "her" family.
She was one of those rare, selfless people who truly lived her life for her family.
I, (Ken) had the opportunity to be with Claire during her last few days in hospital and bear testament to the love she had for her husband, Ron, and to her children/grandchildren.
Although. she is gone from us physically, she will remain with us in spirit forever and she will be a constant beacon for us all to follow in how to live our lives for our families.
Rest in peace, Claire. We loved you in life and we will love you forever.

I spoke with Claire at this years Children's Christmas party; we hugged and talked about our grandchildren.  Not unlike past parties she expressed how much she loved her family, how her grandchildren were the center of her life;  how truly blessed she felt.  She was so proud of all of you.
Our deepest sympathy, an angel watches over you now ~

To the Family of Claire Dufresne,

It's with a heavy heart that I write this message expressing my deepest condolences for your loss.  I called Claire my Sister when I saw her constantly smiling face in the kitchen at the CAW Centre.  I will cherish the moments that we had (especially the conversation where she gave me her recipe for her awesome vegetarian lentil meatloaf), and I will think of her and smile when these memories remind me how lucky I am to have known Claire.  Today my tears mourn her passing and my smile celebrates her life.
