Gale was a wonderful friend - generous and thoughtful, with a quick wit and a level head. She helped me through some difficult emotional times and always offered me a cheery welcome when I visited her at her home. I had a wonderful visit with Gale and Barb in Jasper when they travelled west in the fall of 2008. I also visited her last fall in Port Elgin, where she and Barb taught me to play Farkle.  At the time, I wondered if I'd see her again. I will miss her a great deal, and I can only imagine how much she will be missed by her family and close friends. My sympathies to all of you. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the service, but I am with you in spirit.

Our deepest sympathies are with you and your family at this time.  We were Gail's neighbours for the short time we lived next door.  Scott was always over to relight her pilot light when it went out in a snow storm.  She had a heart of gold, treasure that.  The Hamilton Family
