Gale Sinclair

After a courgeous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 6th, 2010, at the Grey Bruce Health Serivces, Southampton, surrounded by family, in her 56th year, Gale Sinclair of Port Elgin. Dear mother of Janet Stimec and her husband Ed. Very proud Nana to their adored children Aidan and Kayla who brought such joy to her life. Cherished friend of Barb Arnold and her daughters; Chris Sowa, Kim Smythe (Jeff), and Anita Arnold, her sisters; Deanna Blair (Eric), and Sherrie Maddick (Shane Lloyd). "Auntie Gale" to Amber, Jessica, Joseph and Kaitlyn Sowa, and Abigail, Simon, and Benjamin Smythe who will always remember her playful and generous nature. Dear sister-in-law of Ingrid McNeill and beloved Aunt to Alannah and Samantha. She is also survived by her sister; Terry and brother-in-law; Dave Edwards, nephews; Stephen and Jeffrey, and brother' Stephen Sinclair. She is predeceased by her parents; June and Duncan Sinclair. Gale will be sorely missed by her extended family and friends. She will be well remembered for her active participation in the Special Olympics organization, the Chantry Island Cham-bettes, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the YBC Bowling, as well as, her many years with OPG.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9th, 2010. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.

Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
