Raymond Bruce Bartlett

Suddenly, on his way back from Newfoundland, on Wednesday, October 12^th, 2016 in his 75^th year.  Raymond of Port Elgin, cherished husband for 53 years of Deanna Bartlett (Janes). Beloved father of Myra (Rick) and Doug (Helena). Proud and loving Poppy of Brett (Leanne), Brittney (Adam), Nashell, Marissa, and Jacob. "Great-Poppy" of Chloe and Cooper. Survived by his brother Eric(Jeannie), his sister Barbara and his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Augustus and Gladys. Ray will be fondly remembered by his many friends and hunting buddies in Grand Falls and Charles Brook, Newfoundland. St. John's Anglican Church, Port Elgin was a huge part of Ray's life and he took great pride in his role as "Head of Maintenance". He loved nothing more than to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever he was needed. He will be missed by so many in the community.

Friends will be received at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222 on Monday, October 17^th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 516 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Tuesday, October 18^th, 2016 at 1:00pm.

Memorial donations to the Trillium Gift of Life Network would be appreciated by the family.
