Gerald (Gerry) Edward William Melcher, 70, of Port Elgin, Ontario, passed away at home of natural causes on February 17, 2024. Born to parents Carl and Geraldine Melcher, on July 29, 1953, in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Gerry moved to Port Elgin in 1973, after training in Deep River, to work at Bruce Heavy Water.
