Emily passed away peacefully while surrounded by family, at Brightshores Health System, Southampton on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in her 30th year. Beloved daughter of Jeff and Alison (nee Harwood) Brolese. Loving sister of Katie. Much loved granddaughter of Angelo Brolese and his late wife Bruna, and the late Russell and Mary Lou Harwood. Emily will be deeply missed by her loving pet, Lily. She will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles and cousins. Much loved great niece of the late Ruth Anne Crozier.
Emily graduated from the University of Guelph with honours in Biomedical Physics. She excelled in math and science, much like her dad. Emily shared a profound love of all animals with her mom, especially horses. She loved riding and competing at horse shows. Emily was always discovering new places, traveling across Canada or simply going for an afternoon drive with her family. She enjoyed hikes and walks on the beach with Lily. Emily shared everything with her little sister, Katie. Emily’s beautiful smile and kindness will never be forgotten. We will cherish all the wonderful memories.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 2pm – 5pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am in the chapel on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Spring interment Innerkip Cemetery.
