Jules Vanhaelemeesch Obituary

Peacefully, with family by his side on Friday, March 6, 2020 in his 82nd year.  Jules, beloved husband for 60 years of Lisette (nee Vandale).  Loving father of Jerry and his wife Diane, Annette, and Jeff and his wife Angela. Proud grandfather of Melissa, Jamie (Melissa), Carley (Ben), Christina (Will), Gregory (Marina), the late Brandon, Jordan, Emma; and great grandfather of Myla, Jase, and Ivey.  Dear brother of Pierre and his wife Dianne; and brother-in-law of Walter Vandale and his late wife Jean, Jeanette and her late husband Roger Verbeke, and Rosette and her husband Floyd Steven. Jules will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Anne-Marie and her husband Eugene Ruest, and by his infant brother Jaques.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222 from 7-9pm. A prayer service will be held Friday evening at 8:45pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Spring interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board for St. Joseph’s Catholic School’s Breakfast Program.
