Marjorie Grace (Coultes) Schwichtenberg

Peacefully, at her home in Port Elgin on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in her 87th year. Marge, loving wife of the late Wilbert “Wib”. Loving Mom of Lori and her husband Ken Bollen, and Kerry and his wife Janet. Proud Grandma of Caroline (Michael), Alyson, Kira, Emma, Kenneth, and Jenny. Great Grandma of Teddy. Dear sister of the late Jack Coultes and his wife Elizabeth, and Diane and her husband Alex Craig. Dear sister-in-law of Al and his late wife Marg, Betty Wybenga and her late husband George, Verna Lynette and her late husband Jack, and the late Audrey Weigel and her late husband Freddy. Marge will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Marge spent her career as a Registered Nurse first at Wingham Hospital after graduating from Guelph General Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. Her and Wib settled in Port Elgin in 1962 and she worked at Southampton Hospital until 1974. She finished her career off at the Southampton Care Centre.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 1:00pm until the time of memorial service at 2:00pm at the Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street, Port Elgin.

Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Port Elgin United Church would be appreciated by the family.
