Carol Lynn (Purbrick) Hunter

Peacefully, on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at the Southampton Care Centre in her 80th year.  Carol, beloved wife of the late John Hunter.  Loving Mom of Brian Hunter (Sarah Lynn), and Jennifer Hunter.  Proud Grandmother of Madison Hunter (Caley Loft), Matthew Hunter (Steph Heller), Michael Hunter, Kristen Langille (Scott Langille), Derek Kouhi (Emma-Dawn Ferguson), Jamie Kouhi (Lucas Ross), and great grandmother of Vivien Langille.  Dear sister of Paul Purbrick and Gerry Purbrick (Carol).  Carol will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and by Dale and Denys Kouhi and their children Keyden and Dilianys.  Predeceased by her brother Marvyn Purbrick.

Friends will be received on Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home,  510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at 11:00am at St. John’s Anglican Church, 516 Mill Street, Port Elgin.
