Peacefully, with family by her side, on Friday, March 2nd, 2018 at the Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound, in her 62nd year. Darlene, beloved daughter of Marie McCauley and the late Clifford Nelson. Loving Mother of Brandon Benoit, Ron Benoit and his partner Nina Meyn, Jayson Benoit and his wife Michelle, Steven Benoit and his partner Natasha Marshall, and Ryan Gibbons and his partner Katelynn Ribey. Proud Grandma of Jaydon, Morgan, Ashley, Andrea, Kailam, Tiffany, Brittany, Jordan, Jessica, Alexis, Kayden, Carmen, and Trinity. Great Grandma of Preston. Dear sister of Alice Miller, and the late Ron Nelson and his wife Wendy. Special friend of Teresa Podmore. Will be lovingly remembered by Lorne Gibbons, Tabatha Jessop, Brian Porlier, Lisa Esplen and Debbie Armstrong.
A Memorial service will be held for Darlene at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Burgoyne, 4865 Bruce Road 3, on Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 1:00pm.
