Dorothea Kratz Obituary

Peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at the Southampton Care Centre in her 90th year. Dorothea, loving wife for 66 years of the late Peter. Loving Mom of John and his wife Martha, Helga Bamford and her partner Rob Kelly, Linda Mason and her fiancé John McVittie, and the late Jacob. Proud Gramma of Sandra (Mike), Peter (Julie), Richard (Kim), Shawn (Krystal), Steve (Lisa), Scott (Laura), Dayna (Chris), Luke (Danielle), and Adam (Ema). Great Gramma of 18. Dear sister of Jacob Schleicher and his wife Rose, Henry Schleicher and his wife Loni, and sister-in-law of Regina Schleicher.

A celebration of Dorothea’s life will be held in the spring following interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener, Ontario with details to be announced.

Memorial donations to the Southampton Care Centres Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
