Dorothy Maxine (McDonald) Earnest

Peacefully, on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Southampton Care Centre in her 85th year.  Dorothy, loving wife of the late Jack.  Beloved mom of Keith Diebel and his wife Cindy, and Diane and her husband Nelson Bailey. Dear stepmom of Wendy Earnest, Deb Bell, Sherry Grimstead, Jim Earnest, John Earnest, and Hank Earnest.  Proud grandma of Melody, Andrea, and Angela. Dear sister of Jack McDonald and his wife Betty, Eric McDonald and his wife Edith, Wray McDonald and his wife Leone, and Shirley and her husband Don Edge.

Friends will be received on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11:00am until the time of the memorial service at 12:00pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222 with a celebration of Dorothy’s life to follow at the Port Elgin Legion.

Memorial donations to the CNIB Foundation or the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada would be appreciated by the family.
