Suddenly, as the result of an accident, on Friday, December 1, 2017, in her 24th year. Emily, loving partner of Ben Hernandez. Beloved daughter of John and Sharon Ross. Loving sister of Kara and her husband Shaun Trelford, Lucas, and Lindsay. Beloved granddaughter of Dorothy Ross (nee Dickison) and Barb Ross. Proud Aunt of Wren. Emily will be fondly remembered and missed by Ben’s family, and all of her Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 7th, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8th, 2017 at 11:00am at the Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street, 519-832-9540, with Rev. Bonnie Holliday officiating. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Ontario Equestrian Federation or the Georgian Riding Association for Challenged Equestrians (G.R.A.C.E.) would be appreciated by the family.
