Gilbert "Gil" Atkinson Obituary
Peacefully, at the Southampton Care Centre on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in his 69th year. Gil, loving son of the late George and Lois (nee Stansal). Beloved brother of Carolyn, Brian and his wife Marion, Barbara, Laurel and her husband Willie Ough, Wendy and her husband Jim Kitts, Darlene and her husband Don Ford, the late Darrell, Kenneth and his wife Fay, Kim and her husband Jack Cooke, Ellen and her partner Kevin Pearson, and Randy and his wife Donna. Gil will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 at Douglas Hill Cemetery, 2199 Bruce County Road 3, Cargill, Ontario.
Memorial donations to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
