Peacefully, with family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in his 89th year. Harry, loving husband of the late Shirley Ann (nee Fullerton). Beloved Dad of Steven and his wife Lynn, Linda and her partner Darnell Myers, Lenore and her husband Jeff Sherman, Scott and his wife Tanya, and Greg and his wife Katherine Mullin. Proud and loving Grandpa of Angela (Matt), Shannon (Troy), Danielle, Christopher (Brittany), Blake, Cory (Larissa), Kelsie (Ryan), Trevor (Alida), Brad (Becca), Coleton, Elisa (Tyler) Garett (Leah); and great grandpa of Wyatt, Alison, Chyenne, Brooklyn, Wes, Riley, Madilynn, Spencer, Nora, and Nova. Dear brother of Murray Thede and his wife Joyce; and brother-in-law of Carman Fullerton and his wife Barbara, Donelda Thede, and Marilyn Thede. Predeceased by his brothers Glen and Doug.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Royal Canadian Legion service will be held just prior to the evening visitation at 6:45pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 11:00am at the Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation, Port Elgin United Church, or the Port Elgin Royal Canadian Legion Br. 340 would be appreciated by the family.
