Judith Caskey Obituary

Passed away peacefully at the age of 69, October 4th, 2019 at Parkview Manor Healthcare Center in Chesley, Ontario. Judy was born on November 6th, 1949 in Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia; she was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Mingo. She is survived by her loving husband, Lorn Caskey of Port Elgin Ontario; sons, Allan Lewis of Oshawa, Jerry Lewis of Oshawa and Seth Caskey of Whitby Ontario; and many wonderful grandchildren, Amber (Ryan) P.E.I, James, Sara, Monique, Kayla and great grandson, Marcus. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her sister, Anne Wilkins, Desbarats Ontario, and her brothers, Donald (Pat) Mingo, Gold River NS, Bruce Mingo, Deep River Ontario, and her sister-in-law’s, Mary Moss, Oshawa Ontario, Donna Mingo, Toronto Ontario and Bea Handford, London Ontario, Linda Caskey, Oshawa Ontario. She was predeceased by her loving brother, Fredrick Mingo, Nova Scotia and loving sister-in-law, Molly (Herbert) Hain, Oshawa Ontario. She was loved by many nieces and nephews; Laura (Doug), Oshawa Ontario, Brad (Tracy) Mingo, Keswick Ontario, Leisa Mingo, Oshawa Ontario, Irving (Leigh) Mingo, Oshawa Ontario, Sherry (Jon) Flaman, Hamilton Ontario, Richard (Tara) MacAloney, Desbarats Ontario, Tina (Chris) Lineker, Bridgewater NS, Donald (Michelle) Mingo, Chester Basin NS, Belinda (Ben) Samson, Pembroke Ontario, Amanda (Tom), Pembroke Ontario, Shawn Mingo, Toronto Ontario, David Hain, Oshawa Ontario, Kevin Hain, Oshawa Ontario and many great nieces and nephews.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was very creative. She loved to make flower arrangements and to decorate. She loved to shop for new clothes and always dressed immaculately. She would do anything for anyone and always loved a good joke. She enjoyed time with family and friends and loved to get her hair done. She loved and was loved and will be greatly missed by all who where blessed enough to have known her.

A celebration of her life will be held in the spring 2020.
