Sandra Lee Maguire

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Lee Maguire (nee Wilson) announces her passing on November 6, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 68. Sandy will be lovingly missed by her husband of 45 years, Garry, and her daughters Brenda (Craig Power) and Tricia. Sadly missed by her sisters May Waugh and Crystal McNair, and brothers Norm and Tom Wilson, as well as her grandson Ryan Sernoski, her many nieces and nephews, her grandog Macaroni and best friend Sue Buckton. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Velma Wilson and her brothers Gord, Gerald and Bryan Wilson. 

The family would like to thank everyone for the kindness they showed to them during this difficult time. Special thanks to Sue Buckton, Maryanne Dahmer, Marlene Funston, Don and Judy Lindhorst, Jerrica Metcalfe, Dr Alex Hodgson, the nurses from Care Partners/CCAC, and the amazing staff at Saugeen Memorial and Owen Sound Hospitals, as well as the many family and friends that gave their love and support.  They would especially like to thank Dr Don McCulloch for his care and compassion.

A gathering to celebrate Sandy’s life will take place at the Lakeshore Recreation Club in Port Elgin on Saturday November 10, 2018 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm with remarks at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
