Annie Beaton (MacLean) MacDonald

Peacefully, with her loving family by her side at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton on Thursday, December 6, 2018 in her 98th year.  Anne, loving wife of the late William (Bill) MacDonald. Beloved mother of Mairi and her husband Bill Karcher, Lois and her husband Larry Yanuzzi, and Jeanette and her husband Jamie White. Proud Grandma of Lori, Heather (Marcel), Patricia, Chris (Rachel), Steven (Paula), Karen (Les), Kathy (Joe), Craig, Kyle (Jane), Scott (Hayley), Iain, Rory, Peter (Laura), Matthew (Judy), Alex (Tania), A.J. (Terri-Lynn), and Katie (Mark).  Great Grandma of 25 and Great Great Grandma of 3.  Dear sister of Archie MacLean of Scotland. Predeceased by her son Rory, daughter Marguerite and her husband Steve Krizsan, granddaughter Jennifer, brothers Alex and Kenny, and by her sister Cathy MacFarlane. 

Anne was a war bride arriving in Canada in 1945 with two small children. Anne and  her husband Bill settled in Paisley where they added three more children to their family.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Spring interment Lovat Cemetery.
