Barbara Elizabeth (McTeer) Wolfe

Peacefully, with family by her side on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound in her 76th year. Barbara, loving wife of the late Ross. Beloved mom of Gordon and his wife Kathleen of Dobbinton, and Dean and his wife Tanya of Port Elgin. Proud Grandma of Athena, Anderson, Zoe, Ariana and Ashton. Dear sister of the late Lorraine Kerr, Sharon and her husband Reid Stewart, Bruce McTeer and his wife Elaine, Ronald McTeer and his wife Carol, Gary McTeer and his wife Linda, and the late Barry McTeer and his wife Cheryl. Dear sister in - law of Murray Wolfe, Shirley Moulton and her husband Bruce. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd & Grace (Walsh).

Barbara raised her boys in Arran Township before her move into Port Elgin, while remaining a faithful member of the Mount Hope Community.  Grandma was an excellent cook, and her grandchildren could always find fresh baking and homemade preserves in her cupboards.  Many family members were fortunate enough to receive a baby quilt prepared by Barbara on the arrival of their newborns.  She will be dearly missed by her bridge & euchre friends.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Southampton United Church, 18 Victoria Street S., Southampton with the Rev. Gerry Hofstetter officiating. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
