Captain John Allen Duffield

Peacefully, with family by his side at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Southampton on Friday, April 23, 2021, in his 79th year. John, loving husband of the late Myrna (nee Johnson). Beloved Dad of Glenn and his wife Jodi, and Alison and her husband George Brossault. Proud Gramps of Meghan, and Colin. Dear brother of Diane Duffield, Charles Duffield and his wife Charmaine, Mike Bean and his wife Mary Ann, and Diane Bean. Predeceased by his sisters Martha Brown and Sally Seibert. John will be deeply missed by his loving friend Margie Szilagyi.

A private family celebration of John’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Family and friends wishing to view the service may do so on facebook @BrownFamilyFH or in the service details below.
