Peacefully, at Longfields Manor, Ottawa, on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in his 89th year. Horst, beloved husband of the late Wanda for 58 years. Loving Father of Karin Fryday and her husband Dennis Curley, Doris Breckon, Laurie Cross and her husband David, Daniel and his wife Patti, and Shona Pentland and her husband Dave. Proud Grandpa of Josh, Brock, Lia, Michael, Natalie, and Nathan; and Great Grandpa of Alexa and Tucker.  Predeceased by his grandson Shaun Breckon, and his son-in-law Curt Breckon.

A private family funeral service will be held and live streamed on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00pm from the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.
