Howard John Chappell

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in his 93rd year.  Howard, beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Atkinson).  Loving father of Suzanne, the late Barbara and her husband Ron Irwin, Jim and his wife Grace, and Brenda. Proud Grampa of Angela (Lloyd), Chris (Moko), Paul (Steph), Kerry (Dave), Dan, Tara (Marvin), Michael (Natalie), Robin (Max), Heather (Dan), and Evan (Brittany); Great Grampa of 14 and Great Great Grampa of one. Dear brother of Maurice.  Howard will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Hannah (nee Puddy), and his brothers Murray, Sylvester, Wesley, Harvey, and Calvin.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00am in the chapel on Thursday, November 21, 2019.
