James "Jim" Albert Burgess

Peacefully, at his home, with his wife by his side on Friday, July 5, 2019 in his 80th year.  Jim, beloved husband of Lynne (nee Howard). Loving father of Owen James, and Matthew Garrett and his wife Tina Gee.  Proud Grandpa of Deacon (Melissa), Chantelle (Dan), Mason, and Tyler. Dear brother of Stuart and his wife Carolyn, and Paul. Dear brother-in-law of Craig Howard and his wife Leona.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.  A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at  the Faith Lutheran Church, 525 Ivings Drive, Port Elgin.
