Karen Hillis

Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in her 82nd year.  Karen, beloved wife of the late Kelly Hillis.  Loving mother of Greg and his wife Sharon, Jeff and his wife Kathy.  Proud grandmother of Holly, Steven (Samantha), and April, Daniel (Meaghan), Adam (Erin) Esplen, and Kyle and Sarah (Bryan).  Great Grandmother of Mackenzie and Lily, Avery and Colby, Luke, Leah, and Laura. Dear sister of Dan Mellon. She will be greatly missed by her friend Milt Rennick. Predeceased by her daughters Lori (in infancy) and Wendy Esplen. 

Friends will be received on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Port Elgin Missionary Church, 650 Green Street. 

Memorial donations to the Port Elgin Missionary Church, Parkinson’s Canada or MS would be appreciated by the family.
