Obituary
Peacefully with family by her side, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Monday, April 4, 2022 in her 79th year. Lumina Marie “Lou”, loving wife of the late Robert Charles “Bob” (2014) for 41 years. Beloved friend of Robert White. Lou was a devoted mother to her nine children: Leanne Seguin and her partner Sean Edwards, Colleen Eastwood and her husband Scott, Michelle Vance and her husband Shawn, Lorri Cook and her husband Shawn, Cherie Thorne and her friend Steve McKay all of Port Elgin, Tony Thorne and his friend Monica Bagshaw of Ottawa, Mitch Thorne and his wife Julia Squire of Kitchener, Ty Thorne and his wife Maggie of Tara, and Donna Pasowysty and her partner Chuck Vidalin of North Vancouver. Nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren were honored to have Grandma Lou as their grandmother. Dear sister of Ed Baker, Dawn Affleck, Marion Thorne, and Ross Wilcox. Lou will be deeply missed by her loving companion Angel. Predeceased by her mother Merle Baker, father George Baker, and sister Maxine Kennedy.
Friends will be received on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222.
Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
