Peacefully, with family by her side on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Brightshores Health System, Southampton in her 87th year. Marie, beloved wife of Gerry. Loving Mother of Denis and his wife Jan, Monique and her husband Andrew Drake, and Marc and his wife Angela. Proud Grandmother of Adam (Jess), Genna (Dustin), Brent (Sarah), Meaghan (Matt), Sarah, Chantelle, and Laura (Colin). Great Grandmother of Benjamin, Oliver, Noah, Nickolas, Nadia, Emily, Madeline, Lily, Blake, Brendan, Brooke, Sophia, Cali, Isabelle, and Connor.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Parish, 920 Wellington Street, Port Elgin. For those unable to attend, the funeral mass will be live streamed and can be found on the funeral home’s Facebook page @BrownFamilyFH or in the service details below.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
