Mark Lyndon McDermid

Unexpectedly, on Monday, November 15, 2021 in his 39th year. Mark, beloved husband of Jamie (nee Bell). Proud and loving father of Emma and Dean. Beloved son of Carol (nee Dunlop) and the late Don McDermid. Loving brother of Amy Doherty and her husband Mike, and Pete McDermid and his wife Megan. Dear son-in-law of Jim and Carol Bell and brother-in-law of Blair and Dave Sousa, Dina and Goran Yabar, and Christa and Peter Kostandenou. Loving uncle of Sloane, Liam, Gwen, Wilson, Ellis, Liv, Charlotte, Desi, Mila, Kai, Ethan and Ryan. Mark will be forever remembered by his best friend Brian Moss.

A public celebration of Mark’s life will be held from 2-5pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Lakeshore Recreation, 1177 Goderich Street, Port Elgin. Please note: As per covid regulations effecting capacity limits, a vaccination certificate will be required to attend.
