Peacefully, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in his 92nd year. Murray, beloved husband of Joyce (nee Ziegler). Loving Dad of the late Marilyn Cumming, Eldon and his partner Rose, Paul and his wife Angie, and Donald and his partner Tracey. Proud Grandpa of Chris, Keri (Matt), Matt, Brent (Sarah), Meaghan (Matt), Sarah, Hayley (Eric), Deacon (Melissa), Chantelle (Dan), Stetson, Taylea, Kyla, and Tristan. Great Grandpa of seven. Dear father-in-law of Dean Cumming. Predeceased by his brothers Glen, Doug and Harry.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Royal Canadian Legion memorial service will be held just before evening visitation at 6:45pm. A celebration of Murray’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 340, 630 Green Street, Port Elgin. Spring Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 340 or the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
