Robert David Brown

Peacefully, but unexpectedly at his home in Burlington, on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in his 79th year. Robert, loving husband of the late Vicky. Loving father of Cheryl-Ann and her husband Peter Ryans, Christopher and his wife Tabitha, Wendy and her husband Robert Cumming, Berri-Lynne and her husband Ed Richardson, and the late Beverly and her husband Bryan McSween. Proud Papa of Holly (Sean), Kevin (Jacqueline), Travis, Kyle (Crysta-Lee), Sabrina (Christopher), Nicole, Megan, Kristina (Craig), Rebecca, Liam, Tara, Brock, Brittany, Ryan (Samantha), and Lindsay (Brad). Great Papa of many. Beloved son of Isobel and the late Victor Brown.  Dear brother of Ted and his wife Jackie, Rick and his wife Wendy, and Deb and her husband Greg Manson. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Leaside Collegiate and worked for many years as a Credit Manager for various companies such as General Concrete and Cashway Lumber where he met & made many friends, including his late wife Victoria and her two daughters, Beverly & Berri-Lynne. In his later years, living in Barrie & Peterborough, Bob worked alongside his brother Ted at the Globe & Mail newspaper. Bob retired to Burlington to spend more time with family.
