T. Ed "Eddie-Bob" Yates

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, May 16, 2020 in his 77th year.  Eddie-Bob, beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Coleman). Loving father of Ed and his wife Michelle, Jason and his wife Melissa, and Sandra and her husband Ron Trelford.  Loving Papa of Katelyn, Dakota, Haydon, Nevaeh, Jade, and Lexi-Jane. Dear brother of Gord, Bev, Bob and his wife Marie, Penny and her husband Bob Ashley, Gail and her husband Rick Holstock, Steve, and Rick Waters and his wife Brenda; brother-law of Bonnie, and Pat. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and by the Coleman and Walker families, George Coleman and his wife Helen, Keith Coleman, and Donna Walker. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Norma Yates, his siblings Ken, Bill, and Barb Brown, and siblings-in-law Alice Yates, Gordon Walker, Joe Coleman, and Carol Coleman. Ed will be remembered for his baking, love of euchre, crib and uno, and his generous spirit.

The family wish to thank the Doctors and Care Partners staff, especially Kylae, who went above and beyond to make Ed and the family comfortable.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.

A celebration of life “card party” will be held at a later date.
