Yvonne (Smith) Häferer

At home in Port Elgin, with her husband by her side on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in her 79th year.  Yvonne, beloved wife of Günter.  Loving Mom of Karl and his partner Jane Kieley, and Ivan and his partner Mariana Garufi.  Proud Grandma of Kayleigh, Evan (Bree), Connor (Maddy), Kyle, Erika, and Rebecca.  Dear sister of Dave Smith, and Louise and her husband Harold Fitzgerald.  Predeceased by her siblings Jack Smith, Stanley Smith, Dorothy Barber, Joan Harding, Betty Collings, and Helen Smith.  Dear sister-in-law of the late Utti and her late husband Franz Heller, Alfred Häferer and his late wife Eileen, Ernst Häferer and his wife Catherine, Ingrid (nee Häferer) and her husband Volker Becherer, and Shirley and her late husband John Ollier.  Yvonne will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in both Canada and Europe.
