Yvonne Beatrice (Lee) Keenan

Peacefully, with family by her side at Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Southampton on Friday, December 30, 2022 in her 86th year. Yvonne, beloved Mom of Paul and his wife Arlene, Dan (deceased), Pat and his wife Alice, and Linda and her husband Gord Crombeen. Proud Grandma of Carolyn, Holly (Max), Ashley (Chris), Alyssia (Ryan), Matt (Patricia), Sam, Kevin, and Brendan. Great Grandma of Reagan. 

Yvonne was born and raised in Northwestern Ontario and spent her school years away in Winnipeg.  She moved to Port Elgin with her family in the early 1960's and lived there until her death, with the exception of 3 years spent in India with her family in the early 1970's.  She retired from Ontario Hydro in 1993.  Yvonne was active in her community and her church throughout her years and enjoyed travel and spending time with her family, both immediate and extended. She was a strong woman with amazing wit and was a good friend to many.  

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2pm – 4pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Parish, 920 Wellington Street, Port Elgin. The funeral mass for Yvonne will be live streamed for those unable to attend. The service may be viewed in the service details below or on the funeral home's facebook page @BrownFamilyFH
