Tom, Linda and family: Thoughts and prayers at this time of your loss. Dorothy and I had lots of good talks when I visited her on behalf of the United Church. Just talking about her last week as noticed how my amaryllis that I planted outside (her instructions) is growing. I'll always remember her. She was a beautiful woman. Take care and God Bless

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear mother
and found great comfort in the Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 -
"The Sovereign Lord will swallow up death forever, and wipe away
the tears from all faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4, we find
God's promise to remove both pain and death. For more comfort,
I turn to the website at: www.jw.org (Search: Comfort)

Dorothy was a deeply respected lady, who always had a smile to share. For all that she had endured and challenges she dealt with throughout the time we have known her, she carried them with determination and grace.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to make visitation or the funeral service (Bill is working a bus tour), but our thoughts are with you. Sincerely hoping you find peace and healing in your memories of Dorothy.

It is with a sad heart and happy memories that I heard of the passing of Dorothy. She was a Stanley dealer who took me under her wing. We had many good times. I have good memories of all the Irwin Family at Shiloh Church. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take comfort in the wonderful memories you have of your memories.
I am sorry to say I have just had a hip replacement so I will not be able to attend either visitation of funeral.
