Funeral Services

When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
We offer a full range of cremation arrangements, containers and urns. One of our funeral directors would be pleased to sit down with you and discuss your preferences, and to provide you with further information. Please call our office for an appointment at your convenience. We will be happy to go over all your options and answer any questions that you may have.

Arranging Meaningful tributes

Each family with which we are privileged to deal has emotional and spiritual needs unique to them. We encourage families to develop memorial tributes that will be meaningful and appropriate for their purposes, and to grieve in a manner that meets their needs.

Our funeral directors will work with each family to provide the framework for services that will be both appropriate and memorable. The very basic meaning of our work is assisting families in the grieving process. When constructed properly, a funeral service can be the most effective instrument in dealing with loss, and will enable the grieving to re-establish a meaningful life without the one they have lost. No other process has proven its worth like the funeral service. Accordingly, we deem it to be of the utmost importance that our professional staff work closely with a family to arrange an appropriate memorial. This is the very essence of our work - to support the grieving.

We encourage our families to assemble "memory boards", or picture collages that will reflect the life that has been lived. Collections of hobbies, golf clubs, fishing equipment, quilting and sewing work, forms of spoken remembrance, grandchildren participating with music, family acting as casket-bearers or any other meaningful activity is most appropriate.

Funeral & Memorial Services

Most families prefer to hold a funeral or a memorial in accordance with family beliefs and their religious traditions. We will assist you to develop your thoughts into a meaningful tribute, and to carry out your plans quietly and professionally.

We are experienced in conducting funerals of all faiths, as well as non-traditional celebrations. Choices relating to burial or cremation are many and varied, and will be presented in an unbiased and clear manner, allowing families to make these important decisions based on their needs alone.

Financial Considerations

Obviously, professional services of any kind have a cost to them. Our professional service charges are based on the actual cost of providing the types of services selected, and can vary greatly according to family wishes. Our funeral directors will explain fully the costs involved in the arrangements selected, and these financial considerations will be decided upon solely by the family.

Likewise, any merchandise selected, such as casket, protective outer burial container, memorial stationery, cremation urns or jewelry, will be presented for consideration by the family. These items also vary greatly in cost, and may be selected according to personal wishes of the family. These matters again are strictly a family matter.

Resource Library

Our staff members are pleased to offer tours of the funeral home facilities to interested parties, in an effort to alleviate the mystery of funeral service to both adults and children. Our staff speaks regularly on death and dying subjects to High School, College and community groups. We would be pleased to offer whatever assistance you might find helpful.

Our website also contains much assistance available in the privacy of your own home by clicking on the GriefWords Library link. These resources are prepared and written by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, one of the continents' leading experts on the grieving process. We are pleased to present this support to you free of charge, and hope that it helps in your recovery from loss. Please click here to access the GriefWords Library.

Our Commitment to our Client Families

We promise that our entire efforts will be directed towards the development of an appropriate memorial to the loved one who has died. Our experienced professional funeral directors know that funerals and memorials must reflect the needs and wants of the bereaved family.

We promise to honour and carry out a family's wishes to the smallest detail, and to develop your desires into a celebration of your loved one's life.

We also commit to provide you with appropriate services within your financial means, and are proud that we have never turned away a family because of financial considerations. Any financial decisions are yours alone, and we promise never to intrude into what is a private matter.
